the moment everyone was waiting for…alexander wang’s debut collection for balenciaga! it is stunning. staying true to cristobals lines and still injecting wang flavour. the cracked paint mohair knits were definately a highlight an the non color – black and white was fresh.

stunning. love the structure! skirts and cocoon coats are important for fall 2013.

wow. love the all over photographic floral prints.

love the round shapes and the more serious nature of this collection than previous. the lack of color seems fresh, but not flat as there still is texture in the fabrications and color blocking.

inspired by boxing – fur mitts and knit ribbed caps under hoods. loving the greys with white and black. texture is very important for fall 2013 and was taken in a new fresh direction by alexander wang – brushed mohair, fur, burn out and embroidered leather appliqués on alpaca…love every bit of it.

love love lot this collection. love the new proportions – full jacquard shorts or full skirts with oversized sweaters and jackets and knee high boots. so fresh. love the embellishments; jewels, patches, embossing, quilting. love the texture and mixing of fabrics and patterns.

riccardo tisci’s collection just blew me away. love the cow skins, graphic tee’s, mens slippers and leather sweaters. i cannot wait for this to hit stores – and i am sure there will be many brands referencing this collection.
